Part Time Accounting Associate

Job Title: Accounting Associate (Part-Time)
Grade: Individual Contributor
Department: Accounting
Reports to: Senior Accountant
Location: Eatontown, NJ
Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt

Function: The purpose of the Accounting Associate is to complete various operational transactions involving Accounts Payable & Receivables. This will include various aspects of accounting as well as completing other various projects as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Post Bills and payments within accounting system with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare checks, matching bills, and filing paid accounts payable and receivables.
  • Complete monthly bank and company credit card expense reconciliations.
  • Assist and complete special projects as needed.
  • Other duties as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year of administrative experience, including internships and/or volunteer work.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good personal skills with the ability to work effectively with other individuals throughout the organization.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
  • Ability to study and apply new information.
