AFTER-MARKET SERVICES

With offices and agents worldwide, and approximately 250 independent depot facilities in 48 countries, CAI has developed a number of programs to maximize the residual value of containers even after they are retired from use in international cargo shipping. We have established strategic partnerships within the portable storage industry in North America. SKY Container Trading is a wholly-owned CAI subsidiary based in the United Kingdom arranging domestic and one-way leases and sales for used containers throughout Europe. CAI is also active in buying and selling third party fleets.

CONTAINER FLEET MANAGEMENT

CAI typically purchases new containers and leases them to shipping companies. We then either sell the containers to third parties for whom we provide management services, or retain the containers in our owned fleet. Our fleet management service covers the full life cycle of the container, including re-leasing, repair, repositioning, storage and maximization of residual value. Superior container specifications and strict quality control during the manufacturing process ensure protection of asset value. Our high quality lessee portfolio includes major international shipping lines, and our information systems provide customized, accurate management reporting.
